Welcome to Tom Markz Films

I would like to welcome you to my blog. Here I will be showcasing my work as well as some of my favorite cinematographers and photographers. I will also focus on new technology and bring updates on what is popular and not.

The Pier

After the the passing of my father my mom and I decided to go for a drive to Palm Beach. We needed to get out and get some fresh air. After going through the terrible ordeal of my fathers battle with Lung cancer and being at the hospital day in and day out it was time to get some composure. We found this pier near the beach and I happen to have my camera with me and I was able to capture this one photo which gives me some comfort. It feels as if my father was re-incarnated into a bird and he was there with us enjoying the air and the views. Notice how the bird is starring out at the waves crashing against the beach. What is also captivating is the beam of light shinning down on him. As always my father would always hide in the shade.
